Project Overview
A social photo-album app where every post is geo-tagged, albums live inside hand-drawn geofences, and a 3D globe is the home screen.
What We Built
Built from zero on Expo / React Native and Supabase: onboarding and sign-in with biometric unlock, profiles, geo-tagged photo posts, and albums with four privacy types — Personal, Private, Invited and Public. The album's creator sets its geofence by hand on the map, as a circle they can move and resize. The app opens on a turning globe that draws each fenced area at its real size rather than as a pin, so a 200 m album and a 10 km one no longer look the same from orbit. Store submission for both platforms is in review.
The Challenge We Solved
Photo apps file memories by date. This client wanted them filed by place, and wanted the owner of an album to decide exactly where that place begins and ends, and who is allowed in.
